And, for those of you with dells, you need to make sure your's takes a regular psu before trying to upgrade, most of them don't (the 8300 is an exception). (Yes, I know it has two fans, but the interior one is not manually adjustable.) I am replacint the 250 watt (no, thats not a typo) psu in my Dell Dimension 8300 (incidentally, what was Dell thinking? the puny psu it came with was pathetic).
At low fan speed, which is plenty for my computer, it is vertially silent (it is quite loud when the fan is turned all the way up, however, I don't think this should be necessary for all but the most extreme gamer. It has plenty of power connections (although they are long enough that they could get in the way in a really small case).

When i used my new Thermaltake PSU with my older r9500 pro card. When I used the BFG card with my old PSU (350 watt el-cheapo), everything worked fine. The Noise Control System automatically adjusts the fan unit to run at low speed when temperature is cool and to speed up when it senses higher temperature.119.
